I believe that when we are not channeling our own personal, powerful energy into creation, it drifts into destruction. It often starts with destruction & minimizing of self.
“Oh, I could never dress like that.” “I would love to join a chorus, but I can’t sing.” “I’m asking too much.” “I don’t have time to play piano.”
Guess what?
Staying small will not keep you safe.
How do I know? I’ve been there.
I am a recovering (triple virgo!) perfectionist, people-pleaser, and “good girl”. I have worked to love & integrate these parts, and also to gently take the wheel back when they try to steer my ship.
Only my inner peaceful-badass is my captain (o captain!) and she knows that “mistakes” are to be celebrated. I now create art from a curious, free, and loving place. I create joyful spaces for people to experience their own playful power.
